James Halliday – Australian Wine Companion 2011 Edition

Established in 1995 by the Home family, Preveli Wines is a small producer of super premium wines. The Preveli vineyard is situated 15km south east of the Margaret River township, near a small community called Rosa Brook. The vineyard is in a cooler sub-region of Margaret River and being more inland it has lower evening temperatures and cooling winds from the Indian and Southern Oceans. The sustainable vineyard management using cover crops, composting, seaweed and organic fertilisers are helping to keep the soils healthy.
